Phase 4 DB

This is going to be a draft of your Key Assignment. The task directions state that this should be an outline, and so I will accept an outline. However, it is actually more difficult to stop at this point in the process, and go backwards and provide an outline for what you've already written. Instead, allow this to be a rough draft of your assignment. The information in parenthesis indicates where you may have already written about the topic.

Your Key Assignment will have four major headings, and six subheadings:
  1. An outline of the company mission statement and resources (Ph 1 DB 2)
  2. Identify what is working well and what is not working well within the organization (Ph 1 IP)
    1. What is one challenge the company has experienced recently? What is working well in the organization? (Ph 2 IP)
    2. Has the company implemented any management strategies in the last few years to help increase revenue by promoting internal operational efficiencies? Why or why not? (Ph 1 IP)
  3. A list of possible adjustments that need to be made relating to organizational leadership (Ph 3 IP)
    1. Describe and diagram the organizational structure (Ph 2 IP)
    2. Do adjustments need to be made in the leadership structure to implement internal efficiencies for maximum profitability? Why? (Ph 1 IP)
  4. A translation of the identified adjustments into strategies (Ph 3 IP)
    1. Identify one organizational theory that can be applied to your company (Ph 3 IP)
    2. Explain why these strategies are important to grow the company, as well as to stay customer focused, competitive, and innovative in the current marketplace (Ph 3 IP)
As you can see, you have mostly written this assignment. All you need to do is to go to the assignments indicated, and use the information from those assignments to create the Key Assignment.

You will upload this Word document as an attachment to your Ph 4 DB post. If you have been researching each assignment all along and using at least 2 sources, as per CTU policy, then you will have the appropriate amount of resources for this assignment. As a reminder, you will demonstrate your research, of course, by providing citations and references for your sources (refer to the sample paper in the Instructor Files for assistance). Make sure you spell check and proof read. Provide at least one substantive reply post; try to reply to someone that has yet to receive a reply.

Phase 4 IP

Take what you have written for the Phase 4 DB and make it more complete. If you wrote an outline for the Phase 4 DB, you will need to write a paper from the outline. If you already have a rough draft of a paper, your writing is much more simple, and will involve fine-tuning more than actual writing. Here is a reminder of what you will be including:

Your paper, submitted as a Word document, must be 1500 words minimum in length,  If you have been researching each assignment all along and using at least 2 sources, as per CTU policy, then you will have the appropriate amount of resources for this assignment. As a reminder, you will demonstrate your research, of course, by providing citations and references for your sources (refer to the sample paper in the Instructor Files for assistance).
